December Kit Layout

Hi There...

Another weekend over and back to the routine of the week.

I thought I should post the layout idea I was working with for the December Kit..It's not a great picture of the layout but you can see gist of it... and because no pictures you can ever publish really do the embellishments any justice I thought I'd show you the sprinkles glitter thickers and how wonderful they really

look.

Just a Few dates to remember... they will be posted on the site also...

Sale starts December 17th

Last orders for delivery before Christmas is December 20th.

THE KIT IS HERE !!!!!!!

This is so exciting for me personally and I know that everyone that contributes to whoops-a-Daisy has been waiting for this moment...

The kit is now available to purchase, it is gorgeous and indulges in all of those things that we associate with Christmas, Rich colours, Metalics, luxury textures and fun!

I have had such a good time playing with the kit myself and all of the results will be published for all to see tomorrow (one thing at a time!!) ...

Hi... sorry it's been so long since I last wrote. Have been up to loads what with the run up to Christmas and both of the boys having their birthdays so close but what a brilliant opporunity to scrap... Birthdays and Christmas I love them!!!..

The Boys are one of the inspirations for Whoops-a-Daisy and now they are getting older they are so helpful and supportive, Adam 9 and Ben 6.. I will introduce them properly another time. Along with my extremely supportive other half, Bob.

I am so pleased to announce our First Monthly Kit, A kit that is all of those things that we desire at this time of year, rich colours, glitter and luxury textures. With textured papers, ribbons, glittered and velvet embellishments. The kit will be announced officially at Whoopsadaisy.biz on Wednesday 3rd December. If you love the papers so much additional paper and cardstock packs will be available to purchase.

To celebrate we will be running competitions and announcing the winner of our Christmas special to win £50 worth of goodies.

Tamlyn ideas!

It is such a dark and depressing monday, I can't think of a better way to brighten it up than to get my tote out and make some cards!!! I normally reserve Monday for admin and really boring mundane tasks but why should I... I am going to break the rules today!!

I now have all of the new Tamlyn Art Designs decoupage papers in stock and despite my original reservations and personal dislike for decoupage it is winning me around, especially with these designs.. I love them. They are modern and so versatile.

I created the card you can see on the right with a basic card blank and some paperstock, to make sure the decoupage character remains the focal point on the card I have only embellished with some small pearls which are by Hero Arts and the 16 is American Crafts Thickers.

Oh and a quick update on the Whoops shack.. it is nearly finished on the inside, photo's will follow so you can see, the walls are finished, eletrics are just to be connected up and can you believe it the flooring is being delivered this week!!

Crate Paper Embellishments ...wow!!

I had to share this one.... I have been playing with the new Crate paper Embellishments and papers this morning. They really are delicious!!.. it's been a while since I have delved into the Scrap tote and how I have missed it, I hope to have the project ideas flowing over the next few weeks.. I also have so many new products to add to the website, it's going to be a really busy time but so worth it...I am sure that nobody will be disappointed.

More details on the Layout..I used the Mia collection to create this page, along with some basics from my toolkit.. oh, and some American Crafts Rub-ons so really little effort for such high impact, I love inking so might have gone a little overboard on that but it's one of those techniques that makes me feel all warm inside, you get results every time and you really can't go wrong!

Still working hard!

Things have been so quiet on the blog front recently but that doesn't mean we haven't been busy... We have been working hard on the Whoops Shack, the lighting is in (thank you Bob :-) ) and the walls are looking good.. the floor will be down by the end of the week. It's all taking shape which is brilliant and the knowledge that it will all come together very soon is just a dream come true for me personally.

I have been promising a class timetable for weeks but I have been a little apprehensive to publish one until I know the works are nearly complete so I have move the publishing of these back slightly and an email (as well as a lengthy blog update) will be sent out at the beginning of December.

Today I have added the new Christmas cardstock and paper stacks from DCWV to the Website, the textured papers are just lovely and a must for any seasonal projects... make sure you check them out whoopsadaisy.biz

Monthly Scrap Kits will be released for the first time in December so stay tuned for updates and to be the first to get your hands on the kits. All kits will be themed, whether it's a certain time of year or coincides with the release of a new product range you wont be disappointed.

Another weekend passes, we have moved on with the 'Whoops shack' and as you can see by the piccie it's there, still a long way to go but it is really happening and makes a massive difference seeing it at this point.

It will look completely different by the weekend, a little 'woody' at the moment but it really is like the tardis and I can't wait to open and share the space with everyone.

New card idea's have been created but yet to be added to the website, so keep your eyes open for the addition of these and others to the website. More project ideas to be added include scrapbook and birthday cards, we hope that the new yummy papers and embellishments with inspire everyone, they really are wonderful and will follow using the new papers and embellishments.

I can't wait...

I finally had notice that the Whoops Shack will be arriving on Friday, which means that all the online goodies and the bits and bobs that never make their way online for whatever reason will be available for perusal soon. Was working frantically over the weekend on the groundwork and pictures will be posted soon!!!.

Beeee'n so Busy!

I can't believe it but i still get really excited when new products arrive. Spending this morning updating products and adding some Seasons goodies has brighted up an otherwise dull and boring monday.

Still busy planning classes for Christmas cards and some longer workshops and crops.... so much to do.. watch this space x

Our New Minds Eye and Crate Paper Christmas goodies have been ordered and are expected to be with us by the end of the month...I am just so excited, I am planning the classes already..the papers really are gorgeous....

I can't wait to get the papers, Kits and embellishments added to the site, they will be available for pre order as soon as they are added and will be shipped out as soon as we receive the.

The base for the store will be going down at the weekend ready for it's arrival, it's happening so quickly and it will be amazing to get everything out and open our doors to everyone for workshops, classes and browsing. I really have my work cut out getting the workshops added along with the new chrimbo stock, halloween approaching so fast too... brilliant time for the kids and we hope that we might be open in time to celebrate in try ghostly style.
